The Blue Economy Conference

The Government of Kenya will provide appropriate transport for the Heads of State and Government and other VVIPS and VIPs

To ensure ease of transport for delegates within Nairobi, the Government of Kenya will provide shuttle bus services for use by all other delegates who are not under 1.1 above. All delegates are encouraged to use this service as a simple and efficient way to move between the hotels, conference venue and airport.

Shuttle buses will connect the designated hotels where delegates are staying to pick-up and drop-off points at KICC as well as transfer delegates to and from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Shuttles services will not be provided to delegates to attend side events being held outside KICC.

Shuttle buses will be screened for security purposes. A security officer and a Liaison officer will be on board each shuttle.
Transport Help desks will be set up at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, at the venue of the Conference, the KICC, at the ground floor and at the accreditation centre located at the Charter Hall along City Hall Way.

The Blue Economy Conference Secretariat makes no guarantee, either expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the hotel information given or the availability of rooms at the rates listed.

Liaison officers will be posted at designated hotels to provide information to delegates on the conference and any other related matters.

Delegates are requested to provide the hotels with the participant’s full name, date and time of check-in and check-out, flight numbers and contact details.
